

Home Health Aide
A Home Health Aide is an essential member of a healthcare team. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, home health aides can bathe, dress, feed, mobilize and transport people; obtain temperature, pulse and blood pressure measurements; and report observations and reactions. Other duties may include preparation of equipment, care of the patient's room and record keeping. The home Health Aide functions as a home maker for the clients helping the client leave in the comfort of their own homes while they are rehabilitating.
At Advantage Career Training our Home Health Aide program will prepare you for successful completion of the home health aide exam. If successful, students will receive their state certificate within from the Connecticut Department of Public health.
